How to Make a Flower Arrangement From Baby Clothes

Making a flower arrangement with baby clothes is a simple project that provides a custom feel. Choose the clothing pieces and their colors based on the baby's gender or needs. For instance, you might include some one pieces, a hat, a bib and a sleeper. A baby-clothes bouquet can act as both a centerpiece at a shower and also a gift from the host.

Instructions

    • 1

Take each clothing item and fold in half, generally folding lengthwise to make rolling easier. For example, with a T-shirt, lay it down and fold in the sleeves. Then fold the shirt in half lengthwise. Roll the shirt up lengthwise. The ends of the rolled-up clothes are your "rosebuds."

    • 2

Use the floral tape to secure your "buds" to a wire floral stem.

    • 3

Bring together as a bunch or use a container containing Styrofoam to make an arrangement.

    • 4

Fill in with small silk flowers or leave with only the clothing flowers.
