Cut the top off a medium-size pumpkin with a sharp knife, and carve out the filling using a large spoon. Discard the pumpkin's innards and seeds. Cleanly scrape out the sides of the pumpkin to allow for optimal space.
Cut a piece of oasis florist foam to fit into the bottom of the pumpkin. Soak it in tepid water and place it inside the bottom of the pumpkin.
Arrange cut flowers in a large bunch in the oasis foam until the entire open cavity of the pumpkin is filled.
Arrange several small gourds around the pumpkin in the middle of a table.
Place several lit votive candles around the pumpkin and gourds to finish the look. The arrangement will last several days indoors.
Set a metal tray in the middle of your work area. Place a large hurricane glass in the center of the metal tray.
Take sea glass pieces and sea shells, and mix them together in a large bowl. Carefully place handfuls of the mixture inside the hurricane glass bottom, filling it up to about one-third of the way full.
Place a large candle directly on top of the sea glass and sea shell mixture inside the hurricane glass. Make sure the candle is centered.
In the space around the bottom of the hurricane, place handfuls of florist moss until the tray is mostly covered.
Loosely tuck pieces of silk flowers into the moss. You may choose to hot glue the moss to the tray if you wish the arrangement to last a longer amount of time. Some flowers can also be glued into the moss, such as cattails, to give the arrangement the feel of a day at the beach.
Trace the bottom of an empty rustic wooden wine box onto florist foam. Cut out the foam, and insert it into the wooden box.
Hot glue silk flowers into the foam in large, uniform clusters.
Arrange different sizes of pinecones around the wooden boxes and along the middle of the table, connecting the boxes visually.
