How to Make a Dried Flower Arrangement

How to create a beautiful dried floral arrangement.

      Fit your floral foam into container of choice, you can use a vase, a basket, a hurricane etc. Fit the foam so it is even with the top of the container.

      Set your arrangement height, it should be roughly twice the height of the container. Start by using your taller stems (generally your greens, shoots, or grasses in the back of the arrangement. You want to leave plenty of room in the front to arrange your shorter stems, let it flow naturally for a realistic affect.

      Using shorter, smaller flowers and berries you can create fullness. Make sure to space all stems evenly with each other.

      Varying your stem heights can establish focal points. Use larger flowers and seed heads in the display. Create an imaginary horizontal line that runs through the center of your arrangement and place your lowest focal point there.

      Inspect your arrangement at every angle to ensure proper balance.
