How to Decorate a Bundt Pan With Primitive Decor

If you have a home decorated in primitive style, you have probably realized that ordinary everyday items can be used as very decorative pieces. An old bundt pan can actually make a great decorative candle holder and the fact that it is a cooking tool adds to the "early country" feel of primitive decor. If you would like to use a bundt pan as decor, you may need an idea of how to do it.

Instructions

    • 1

Use metal primer to cover the bottom side on the bundt pan with a paintbrush and allow it to dry.

    • 2

Paint the bundt pan any color you like that fits the primitive style and allow it to dry. Choose from classic colors like deep navy blues and rich cranberry reds, or go for a lighter cream color.

    • 3

Place a tapered candle into the center hole of the bundt pan. If the candle is loose and unstable, wrap the bottom of it in a piece of fabric and snug it back into the hole.

    • 4

Wrap pip berry garland around the base of the pan to add a decorative touch to the lower half of the candle holder. Use hot glue to secure the garland in place.
