How to Make Gerber Daisy Bouquets

Cut Gerbera daisies fresh from the garden or purchase at a local florist. Select flowers that have bright green foliage with no brown or yellow coloring and flowers that are not wilting. Cut the stems at a 45-degree angle and to a length of 8 inches.

Arrange four to six daisies in your hand. Use more or fewer flowers, depending on the size of bouquet you want and use all one color or various shades in the same color group. Place a rubberband around the upper part of the stems to hold together.

Cut an 18-inch length of 2-inch wide organza ribbon in a color to match the Gerber daisies. Hold the ribbon against the stems directly underneath the flower heads leaving a 5-inch tail of ribbon loose. Wrap rest of the ribbon down 4 inches and then back up so there is a 5-inch tail of ribbon left.

Tie the loose ends of ribbon into a bow in the front of the bouquet. Cut the ends of the stems so they are even.
