Floral Pew Decorations

Size

• Base decorations on the size of the side of the pew. If it's long and narrow a flower like a lily is ideal, being a similar shape. Roses or tulips are ideal for a rounder, wider pew end.

Significance

• Choose floral pew decorations with special significance for the celebration, such as the first flower that the groom gave the bride or flowers that represent love or friendship. For example, if the groom presented a bouquet of lilies of the valley to the bride during their first date, attach synthetic versions of these flowers to the pew side. The bride may choose yellow roses, symbolizing happiness and friendship.

Considerations

• If the chapel is decorated in more than one color, use floral pew decor in the color that is featured the least to bring all the hues together. For example, if the colors are blue and chocolate brown and most of the decorations are blue, use synthetic chocolate brown flowers to adorn each pew.
