How to Make Mollie Flowers

Attach the flower center yarn to a crochet hook. Make a chain of six stitches. Slip stitch to join and form a ring.

Make one chain stitch. Crochet 12 single crochet stitches in the ring. Make a slip stitch to join stitch one and 12 together.

Make a slip stitch into stitch 12 with the flower petal yarn. Crochet one stitch going through both colored yarn loops on the hook. Crochet two more stitches with the petal yarn. This makes a three-stitch chain.

Wrap yarn over the hook from the back to the front. Insert the hook into stitch one and bring up a loop that is as high as the three chain. Three loops are on the hook. Repeat wrapping the yarn over the hook, insert into stitch one and bringing up a loop until there are seven loops on the hook.

Wrap yarn over the hook and slowly draw it through all seven loops on the hook. One puff stitch has been made.

Make two single crochets stitches at the top of the puff stitch to secure it.

Make a slip stitch in the second stitch in the ring.

Make a chain of three stitches in the third stitch of the ring. Make a puff stitch as high as the chain three.

Make a slip stitch in the next stitch in the ring. Make a puff stitch. Repeat this around the remainder of the ring until there are six puff stitches or petals. Make a slip stitch in the last stitch in the ring. Slip stitch at the bottom of the first puff petal. Bind off by pulling the yarn through very tightly.
