Cut a section of wheatgrass the size and shape of your container using sharp scissors. Flats of wheatgrass are available at nurseries and sometimes health food stores or pet stores.
Place the wheatgrass into the bottom of your container. The wheatgrass can be placed into the bottom of a tall glass container or a shallow container of any material. Container possibilities include glass vases and cylinders, cookie jars, trays and platters, votive candle holders, wine glasses, mason jars, pedestal dishes with covers, wooden crates and bell jars.
Add decorations to your wheatgrass, if desired. Use floral picks to arrange small flowers in the wheat grass. For Easter, place dyed eggs or chocolate bunnies on top of the wheatgrass. Wrap the edge of the wheatgrass with ribbon or sprinkle glitter over the top of it.
Display your wheatgrass arrangements as a centerpiece for a party or event, on a table in your entryway, on a coffee table or wherever you want a touch of spring green. Use one large arrangement, or try several small ones scattered around a room or at each place setting for a lunch or dinner party.
