Use a ceramic or regular pumpkin to showcase colorful fall roses. Combine real flowers with silk flowers or accents such as baby's breath and greenery. Cut the stems so the rose heads display just over the top edge of the pumpkin's lip. Choose fall-colored roses such as peach, white, orange and red. Find fall-inspired silk additions such as fall leaves, greenery and corn husks to place in the centerpiece with your roses. Decorate the base of the arrangement with rocks, sticks and more fall leaves.
Place candles and a few other fall accents inside your pumpkin vase or carving. Fill the entire vase with circular orange, red and white candles. Place the tallest candle in the center of the pumpkin and surround the border of this candle with smaller candles until the centerpiece is full. The candles are for decoration only--this many flames could easily melt the bottom of the pumpkin if they were lit. Adorn the base of the centerpiece with fall leaves, pinecones and sticks.
Place small silk sunflowers, greenery, baby's breath and other fall accents such as corn husks, pussy willows and fake berries inside your pumpkin to create a rainbow of festive fall colors and dimensions. Decorate around the base of your pumpkin with small ceramic farm animals such as cows, horses, pigs and chickens to evoke a harvest-time scene.
Create a fall pumpkin centerpiece featuring chrysanthemums and baby pumpkins. Showcase delicately full-petaled, puff-ball shaped mums in the pumpkin along with added greenery, such as silk foliage. Adorn the border of the pumpkin with fall leaves and orange and white baby pumpkins. Mums come in fall colors such as green, orange, red, white, yellow and red. Choose one main color or several colors for your arrangement.
