Remove a flower attached with super glue by using an old toothbrush, nail polish remover and soapy water. Dip an old toothbrush into nail polish remover, and gently use the toothbrush to scrub the perimeter of where super glue attaches the cactus statue and flower. Nail polish remover contains acetone, which dissolves dried super glue. Wash the toothbrush with hot water and soap, and then gently scrub the cactus with a soapy sponge. When finished, put the toothbrush in a paper bag or trash bag, label the bag as containing an old toothbrush that should not be used because it could be toxic and throw it away.
Remove a flower attached with hot-glue by gently chipping away or slicing the dried hot-glue with a retractable craft knife. Be careful as you chip at the glue because working with a retractable craft knife is similar to working with a razor blade. Ask a friend to hold the cactus statue for more stability if needed as you slice the glue and detach the flower from the cactus statue. Throw the glue bits into a paper bag or trash bag.
Remove a flower attached with wood glue by applying wood glue remover to the dried glue. Allow the glue remover to set on the dried glue according to the glue remover's packaging instructions, and then lift or peel away the glue. Wash the surface of the cactus with a clean wet sponge and a little soap.
