Instructions

    • 1

Draw a 2-, 3-, 4- and 5-inch circle on your paper. Cut all the circles out. Trace each paper circle three times onto wool felt. Cut out all the felt circles.

    • 2

Separate the circles into stacks according to size. Hold the stack of 2-inch felt circles in one hand with a dime in the center of the top circle. Make snips every 1/2 inch along the perimeter of the stack from the edge of the circle in to the edge of the dime. Repeat with the remaining stacks of felt circles.

    • 3

Stack the four piles of felt circles from widest to narrowest. Push a 1-inch brad fastener through the center of the stack, and open it on the bottom to hold all the felt circles together.

    • 4

Attach a decorative 1/2-inch button to the top of the brad with a dot of hot glue. Fluff the petals of the flower with your fingers. Twist and curl some of the petals with your fingers to give the flower more dimension.
