Lay a loose row of the flooring. Determine if you need to lengthen the first board to avoid small pieces at the opposite end of the floor.
Start at the wall and trim off the top edge facing the wall. Leave a space of about a 1/4 inch for the floor to breath. Keep the under edge out away from the wall.
Secure a second plank to the first plank by making sure the edges are interlocking. Use one hand to hold the plank and the other hand to guide the plank into place.
Cut a plank at about 2/3 the length for the second row. This will create the staggered effect of the flooring. Score the plank and snap for the length you need.
Score the plank and snap for a length of about 1/3 for the third row. Continue this pattern until the floor is complete.
Use a hand roller to apply pressure to the seams to ensure they are joined properly. Use a 100-lb. roller to roll across entire floor both ways to make the flooring even and seamless.
