The Specifications for Amtico Flooring

Amtico flooring looks like stone or wood flooring, but is actually luxury vinyl tiles (LVT). They are appropriate in places where there is heavy foot traffic, such as in a home, retail or office environments. The Amtico company produces these tile for home, retail, marine and auto uses.
  1. Amtico Flooring

    • The overall thickness of Amtico flooring is 2.5 millimeters, with a wear layer of 1.0 millimeters. The floors have a beveled edge. Amtico wood floors are available in 76 by 915 millimeters, 114 by 915 millimeters and 152 by 915 millimeters. Their stone floors and abstract floors are available in: 305 by 305 millimeters, 305 by 457 millimeters, 305 by 610 millimeters and 457 by 457 millimeters. The Amtico XL line of floors are available in 457 by 610 millimeters, 457 by 916 millimeters, 457 by 1220 millimeters and 183 by 1,220 millimeters. Some exceptions do apply and custom sizes are available in some designs.

    Amtico Marine

    • Amtico Marine LVTs are designed specifically for marine environments such as cruise ships or ferries. These tiles have an overall thickness of 2.0 millimeters and a wear layer of 0.55 millimeters. The typical dimensions for wood are 114 by 915 millimeters. Stone is available in 305 by 305 millimeters, 305 by 457 millimeters and 457 by 457 millimeters. Abstract designs are available in 305 by 305 millimeters and 457 by 457 millimeters. Amtico Marine is also available in custom designs.

    Amtico Auto

    • Amtico Auto tiles are 2.5 millimeters thick with a wear layer of 1.0 millimeters. The woods are available in 76 by 915 millimeters, 114 by 915 millimeters and 152 by 915 millimeters. Stone and abstract tiles are available in 305 by 305 millimeters and 457 by 457 millimeters. Stone flooring is also available in 305 by 457 millimeters.

    Warranty

    • Amtico floors come with a 25 year warranty. The floor needs to be registered with the Amtico flooring company and must have been installed by a flooring professional to meet the warranty criteria. If so, the warranty is also transferable.
