Fun Ways to Decorate Bedroom Ceilings

Starry Night

• Stencil stars onto aluminum foil and cut out these celestial beauties to apply to your bedroom ceiling. Pin the stars to the ceiling with straight pins. Add variety by using both silver and gold foil stars.

Mood Lighting

• Add a hint of shimmer to your ceiling with soft lighting. Staple blue or clear rope lights around the entire ceiling, encompassing your space in a surreal glow. Christmas lights are another option; they are a little brighter and can be programmed to twinkle in a funky pattern.

Windows to the Heavens

• Paint your ceiling in the blue hue of your choice. Directly above your bed, paint a few billowy clouds and a few stars that appear to be peeping from behind them.
