Instructions

    • 1

Paint the entire wall section using white paint. This will require you to use the paint roller and tray to cover the surface with a consistent covering.

    • 2

Measure and mark every 12 inches along the length and 9 inches along the height of the wall.

    • 3

Snap the chalk line across each mark to create an even template and divide each space by applying painter's tape along the chalk lines.

    • 4

Apply brown paint using fabric to 1/3 of the squares. Dab on the color, allowing white to show through for details.

    • 5

Apply tan paint using fabric to 1/3 of the squares. Dab on the color, allowing white to show through for details.

    • 6

Apply green paint using fabric to 1/3 of the squares. Dab on the color, allowing white to show through for details.

    • 7

Wait approximately two hours for the paint to dry.

Paint on fine details using a detail paint brush and black paint. The details added can be a lot or a little, depending on what you prefer.

    • 9

Remove painter's tape and add any additional details to the wall.
