Instructions

    • 1

Rough up the PVC pipe surface with the 80-grit sandpaper. Sand the surface in a circular motion to create a rough exterior. The rough exterior will hold the paint better than a flat, shiny surface.

    • 2

Paint the PVC pipe surface off-white using the foam sponge brush. Dab the paint over the entire surface to create a natural stone texture. Allow paint to dry before continuing.

    • 3

Dab on tan paint with fabric scraps. Dab around the PVC pipes in a spontaneous pattern to create a more realistic look. Allow paint to dry before continuing.

    • 4

Dab on brown paint with fabric scraps. Dab around the PVC pipes in a spontaneous pattern to create a more realistic look. Allow paint to dry before continuing.

    • 5

Paint on black lines using the detail brush. Create lines that resemble tree branches for more detail.
