How to Build a Headboard With Drawers

Recycled drawers are a great resource material for a striking headboard. Inexpensive bureaus can be found at thrift shops, and just the drawer fronts are needed to craft something that can set your room apart. The repeating pattern of the drawer front styles creates a pleasing effect for any bedroom in the house. A distressed or antique bureau delivers a traditional appearance, while a modern styled bureau, painted or unpainted, lends the room a contemporary flair. Careful measuring is essential with any building project.
