Instructions

    • 1

Disassemble the picture frame. Remove the cardboard, picture and glass from the frame.

    • 2

Decorate the picture frame, if desired. Attach molding and give the picture frame a new coat of paint before mounting the mirror glass. Allow the paint to dry.

    • 3

Lay the picture frame on a flat surface, the backside of the frame facing up. Plug in and heat a hot glue gun. Place hot glue around the perimeter of the frame, where the glass rests on the frame.

    • 4

Set the mirror inside the frame, mirror-side down. Press down on the glass to secure. Use a heavy duty tape to tape the backside of the mirror to the frame.

    • 5

Use a stud finder to find the studs in the walls. Place picture hangers built for heavy mirrors or pictures on the walls where the studs are located.

    • 6

Replace the hardware on the picture frame, to hold the weight of the mirror. Measure the gap between the picture hangers on the wall before attaching the D-rings. Use the measurement to attach the D-rings on the frame.
