Stab sharp scissors into the end of a tennis ball, using caution during the process. Enlarge the scissor hole to create a hole that’s slightly larger than the end of your curtain rod. Repeat the process with a second ball.
Cut two 12-by-12-inch squares of fabric that goes with the curtains or upholstery in your room.
Turn the fabric squares so the right side is facing down. Place one tennis ball in the center of each, with the hole you created facing up. Tuck the excess fabric into the hole in the ball.
Insert a fabric-covered tennis ball onto each end of your decorative curtain rod, keeping the excess fabric tucked inside.
