How to Decorate a Jeweled Frame Mirror

Paint a pattern or picture on a portion of the mirror surrounded by the jeweled frame. Base the surface area you cover on the amount of the mirror you regularly use. Coordinate the paint colors with the colors of the jewels. Use a high-gloss paint for shine.

Hang items from the jeweled frame’s corners if the mirror’s position allows. Drape a collection of long bead strings on each side for a balanced look. Hang a faux vine from the side to add a touch of nature to the mirror.

Decorate the mirror with vinyl clings, which function like stickers but peel off without leaving residue behind and are reusable. Place one or two larger ones in the mirror corners or use smaller ones to form a pattern around the mirror. Use clings that match with the jewel tones or theme, such as princess decals for a mirror in a young girl’s room.

Add an additional layer of jewels to give the frame area even more shine. Arrange a pattern of jewels directly around the perimeter where the mirror meets the frame. Glue the additional jewels in place and let dry before hanging the mirror.

Use the jeweled frame mirror in a non-traditional way by placing it on a table top as a centerpiece. Decorate the horizontal mirror with candles or flower vases.
