Instructions

    • 1

Separate the petals of the pom flower until you find the florist wire, pipe cleaner or other object that was used to hold the accordion pleats.

    • 2

Cut a piece of monofilament fishing line with scissors so it is twice the length of the distance you want it to hang. For instance, if you want the paper flower pom to hang approximately 1 foot down from the ceiling, cut a 24-inch length.

    • 3

Insert one end of the monofilament underneath the florist wire. Pull this end through until it is in the middle of the length and the two ends meet.

    • 4

Tie the two ends of the monofilament together in a knot.

    • 5

Fluff out the flower petals where you separated them.

    • 6

Place the knot along the wall, ceiling or other object where you want to hang the pom flower.

    • 7

Insert a clear pushpin through the knot to hold the pom flower in place.
