Sew a picture hook, drapery ring or even a tab top from a soda can to the back center of a quilted wall hanging you want to display. If the wall hanging is large, however, then place a picture hook, drapery ring or soda can tab top at each end of the wall hanging instead of placing one of those items at its center. Locate a wall stud, and pound one nail into the wall at that location. Place one nail into another wall stud if you sewed two picture hooks, drapery rings or soda can tab tops to the wall hanging. Place each hook, ring or tab top over a nail to display the wall hanging.
Attach two small triangular fabric pieces to both top back corners of a quilted wall hanging. Sew the fabric pieces in place or use fabric glue. Saw a wood dowel long enough to span the space between the two triangular fabric pieces and fit under those fabric pieces. Insert the wood dowel through the triangular fabric pieces on the back of the quilted wall hanging, and hang the wood dowel on a hook on the wall.
Drape a quilted wall hanging from a curtain rod in a style complementary to the artwork. Mount the curtain rod at the wall location you want to display the quilted wall hanging. Check to see if your wall hanging has built-in tab tops. If it doesn't, then sew small tab tops along the top edge of the wall hanging. Thread the curtain rod through the tab tops to display the piece.
Display a quilted wall hanging in a location other than a wall. Drape it over an entryway table, or use it as a flat centerpiece. If it is small. prop the wall hanging on a shelf using a plate stand.
