How to Install a Headboard to a Frame

Headboards complete the overall style of a bed and can often be an accent piece for the bedroom. They are either mounted to the wall behind the bed or attached to the bed frame. Bed frame mounted headboards are easy to install. Slots are cut into the headboard where it intersects with the bed frame. The bed frame has metal hooks that interlock with the slots. Once the headboard is locked in place with the slots it is fastened to the frame with screws that come with the headboard. The end result is a sturdy and attractive bed frame mounted headboard.
