How to Glue the Frame on the Top of a Glass Mirror

If you are looking for a way to give your bathroom a facelift but do not want to spend a large amount of money, consider framing your mirror. You can frame it with crown molding or plain boards. Many home improvement stores sell mirror framing kits or you can ask the store to cut your boards to the measurements you need. The frame will be a permanent fixture in your bathroom and will add a classic finished look.

Instructions

    • 1

Place your construction adhesive into a caulk gun.

    • 2

Apply quarter-sized amounts of construction adhesive every 1 to 2 inches along the top of the mirror.

    • 3

Press the framing onto the mirror. Use a level to make sure the framing is straight.

    • 4

Place tape around the framing to hold it in place as the constriction adhesive dries. Apply tape every 2 to 4 inches. Let the construction adhesive dry according to the manufacturer’s directions. Remove the tape once the adhesive is dry.

    • 5

Apply framing around the rest of the mirror, if desired, following the same steps.
