Fill a tall, glass cylinder vase with assorted antique silverware. Stand the cylinder vase up vertically so that the open end is facing up. Insert the silverware into the vase, so that the ends of the silverware handles go in first. Set the silverware-filled vase on top of a silver platter, and place them on a buffet or chest to accent the room with antique decor.
Decorate old wooden picture frames with antique silverware. Apply hot glue from a hot glue gun onto the back of the silverware pieces you wish to use for this design. Affix the silverware onto the wooden picture frame so that the silverware runs along the length and/or width of the frame. Use a variety of silverware, such as two forks, one spoon and one knife. Allow the glue to dry overnight. Set the picture frame in the kitchen or dining room as an accent piece.
Create a pile of hardback books on the foyer table, buffet or shelving unit. Place one or two pieces of antique silverware on top of the books. This design idea elevates the antique silverware by presenting it up high on the pile of books.
Affix antique silverware to the kitchen or dining room wall with a hot glue gun. Create a pattern of silverware on the wall that descends in height. This design concept gives empty walls extra pizazz.
