  • Sandpaper, 220-grit
  • Tack cloth
  • Paintbrush, 2-inch
  • Latex primer
  • Acrylic paint

      Stop painting immediately when you realize your mistake. Allow the paint to dry for at least 24 hours.

      Sand the painted surface on the furniture.

      Wipe the sanded surface thoroughly with the tack cloth to remove dust.

      Load the 2-inch paintbrush with the latex primer. Apply the primer and allow it to dry completely.
