# How to Decorate the Sofa Table With a Horizontal Cart Core
If you have purchased or acquired a rustic coffee table that has the frame of a horizontal cart -- such as is found in antique factory carts -- then you may be wondering what you can do to dress up the table. Depending on the condition of the table cart, you may want to display items on the surface that keep with the antique feel of the cart, or you may want to cover up the cart and transform it.

- Lace tablecloth
- Glass bowls, vases or apothecary jars
- Old buttons
- Old books
- Magazines
- Small vintage suitcases
- Colorful throw pillows

Place a lace tablecloth across the surface of the cart coffee table. Allow the tablecloth to drape around the wheels and onto the floor.

Arrange glass bowls, vases or apothecary jars on the surface of the table. Fill these containers with old buttons, which you can purchase from a flea market.

Stack old books or old magazines in the middle of the cart sofa table.

Arrange a few vintage suitcases on the surface of the cart sofa table. Open the suitcases, and fill them with old books and magazines.
