Locate an empty corner in your apartment. Use a stud finder to search for two studs that are opposite one another on the walls that form the corners. The space between the studs should span at least 10 feet to account for the hammock, but can be up to 20 feet apart because of the slap strap system.
Mark the stud locations with a pencil. Measure along the stud from the ground to a point at least five feet up on the wall to account for the hammock height. Make a mark to indicate the hook location. Repeat this on the other stud.
Form a pilot hole with a drill at each mark. Screw a 200-pound capacity eyehook into each pilot hole.
Thread one slap strap into an eyehook. Pull the end through, wrapping it around the hook. Thread the rest of the slap strap through the loop on the very end of it and pull tight to secure to the eyehook. Repeat the process on the other eyehook with the other slap strap.
Open and spread out your ENO hammock. Pick up the carabineer on one end and slide it into one of the six loops on the slap strap. Repeat the process on the other slap strap to complete the hammock hanging.
