Instructions

    • 1

Cover a grouping of PVC pipes that run along the wall by making a fabric wall. Measure the wall that the pipes span and cut a piece of fabric that’s double the width and exactly the height. Hem the fabric edges with a sewing machine. Screw an eyehook in place on either side of the wall, secure a curtain wire between the two and clip the fabric to it with curtain clips. Spread the fabric out so it covers the PVC pipes.

Cover a PVC pipe that runs along the ceiling in your basement with a fake beam. These beams are in the shape of a “U” with a hollow center. Hold it over the PVC pipe and nail into place along the ceiling. Paint it so it matches or leave it bare depending on your preference.

Cover a basement PVC pipe with a room divider screen that folds, like a Japanese shoji screen. Pick one that goes along with the rest of your basement decor and unfold it to position around the pipes.

Create a wrap for the PVC pipe to cover it in a low-cost way. Cut a strip of fabric, thin foam or ribbon and wrap it around the pipe from the top to bottom.
