DIY Window Whiteboard

If you are looking for a way to maximize space in your kitchen or office, consider hanging a whiteboard in a window. You will still be able to get some light through the window while also making use of an empty space. Consider placing your whiteboard in a decorative frame to increase your window aesthetic.

Instructions

    • 1

Measure the length and width of your whiteboard.

    • 2

Locate a frame that is just slightly larger than the whiteboard. You may be able to find large, decorative frames at a local flea market. You can paint them to fit the color theme of your space.

    • 3

Place a glue stick in the glue gun, and plug the gun into a power outlet. After a few minutes, squeeze a line of glue around the border of the whiteboard. Then immediately place the frame on top of the whiteboard.

    • 4

Cut two 10-inch strips of fabric ribbon from a spool. Glue one end of each ribbon on the back-right and back-left corners of the frame.

    • 5

Nail the other ends of the ribbons directly into the upper part of the wood window frame. You may need to cut away some of the ribbon so the frame falls within the space of the window.
