How to Install Fabric on a Frabill Predator

A Frabill Predator is a portable tent used by ice fishers to keep warm while fishing. Over time, the floor of a Frabill Predator will become worn and thin, making the barrier from the cold unreliable. Instructions

    • 1

Set up the Frabill Predator on a flat surface. Measure the length and width of the floor. Record the measurements.

    • 2

Lay the fabric on a flat surface, and measure the length and width of the floor onto the fabric. Mark the size on the fabric, and outline the area as guided by a straight edge.

    • 3

Cut out the measured area with scissors. Cut along the drawn lines carefully to avoid cutting off the lines and removing any needed fabric. Lay the fabric back on a flat surface.

    • 4

Turn the iron to low and smooth out the fabric. Remove any wrinkles from the fabric.

    • 5

Apply fabric glue on the floor of the Frabill Predator. Glue around the edges and across the entire floor surface. Smooth the fabric over the floor, and make sure to cover the entire surface with fabric. Allow the glue to dry for 24-hours.
