Decor Ideas for a Deep Dark Purple Bedroom

Gothic

• Gothic decorating styles have recently become favorites because of the shapes of the interior architecture, decorative accents and deep colors. Although you may associate Gothic color with black, in actuality dark reds and purple are also included in this palette. The advantage that deep dark purples bring to this decorating style is that the purple can be used to replace black in some cases. For example, if you're reluctant to paint the walls black, purple offers you a substitute that's almost as dark but not quite as harsh.
