How to Decorate a Beach Condo

Paint your condo prior to moving your furniture in if possible. It's easier and less messy to paint a condo while its empty. Pick a relaxing soft-toned color such as a light blue, pastel, coral or off-white.

Hang wide slat wood blinds in your choice of colors available. These blinds can offer a nice degree of shaded sunlight to create a calming look throughout the condo.

Install wicker furniture pieces on the patio. Inside the condo you can place wicker furniture as well or soft-colored couches that keep the room feeling cheerful and bright.

Place a glass vase centerpiece filled with seashells on your coffee table, which should be placed in the vicinity of the couch. Install beaded curtains in the doorways that separate rooms to give them a casual feel.

Place green plants, such as bamboo branches or a small palm-tree type greenery, in the corner of your rooms. A few plants can drastically change the look and mood of a condo.

Install a ceiling fan in the living room or dining room sections of the condo. Choose a ceiling fan that matches your decor and paint and maintains the bright and cheerful atmosphere you are trying to create.
