How to Decorate With Oxblood Leather and Fabric

Use an oxblood-colored leather office chair for a masculine office area. Choose oxblood colored curtains for the windows, provided the room is large enough to support such a dark colored window treatment. Accent the room with walnut, cherry or oak furniture. Use shades of beige, yellow or brown for carpet, wall paint and accent pieces.

Make the deep color of the furniture be the focal point of the room by using light colors to decorate around the furniture. Since oxblood has a dominant red hue, use coordinating colors such as white, cream and gold to keep attention on your primary pieces of furniture.
