Set up a ladder under the spot where you want to hang the sheers. Use a tape measure to determine where to place multiple hooks to hang the sheer. For just one hook, mark the desired location with a pencil.
Drill a hole in the ceiling through the pencil mark or marks. The drill bit must be slightly smaller than the shaft of the eye hooks. Because of the lightweight nature of the sheer material, it is not necessary to use anchors.
Screw an eye hook into each hole until the flange of the hook is flush with the ceiling. Hang a metal ring from each eye hook.
Loop the sheer material through the metal ring until the material hangs as desired. If you installed a row of metal rings, pass one end of the sheer through each ring, then even out the material until it hangs equally on each side. For one ring, loop the sheer through the ring, then even it out so it hangs correctly.
