Paint your apartment walls a neutral off-white, if allowed, to provide the perfect foundation for your Greek-inspired decor.
Hang white sheers at the windows to allow light in and to give your windows an airy look. Longer lengths of sheer white fabric can also be draped over a curtain rod to frame the window. Allow the fabric to hang shorter on one side of the window, while flowing to the floor on the opposite side.
Add furniture with neutral-colored upholstery that has a wicker, wooden or wrought-iron base. Place a chaise lounge in your living room and bedroom, if possible, and use tables with wrought-iron bases and glass tops in your dining area, living room and bedroom. Choose a bed with a canopy-style frame so you can drape sheer fabric over it.
Place white decorative pillows on your bed and add a mix of white and off-white pillows to your living room furniture, interspersed with three or four pillows in sea green, turqouise blue and sand colors.
Bring nature and ancient Greek-inspired decor into your apartment by adding Greek column-shaped plant stands and flowing houseplants, such as ferns, to your living room and bedroom.
Position a small battery-operated tabletop water fountain on one of the tables in your living room to add a water element and so you can enjoy the sound of the water.
Hang framed pictures of Greek gods and goddesses, Greek mythological figures or ancient Greek structures throughout your apartment.
Incorporate Greek busts or small statues where additional decor is needed. Small statues or busts can be ideal for the bathroom, the kitchen or on a living room shelving unit.
Fill gold-colored bowls with fresh or fake fruit, allowing bunches of grapes to spill over the sides. Add vases of fresh flowers to your rooms to bring nature indoors.
