  Paint the walls white or a pale color, if the surface is paintable. If it's not, use liquid starch as a paste and wallpaper the inside of the trailer with white fabric. It peels off easily and the liquid starch washes off the walls, leaving no trace behind.

  Paint the cupboards white. Consider sanding the corners and edges to let the original color come through and create a more worn appearance.

  Cover the upholstered pieces with inexpensive white covers. Add pillows with your pastel colors in them.

  Replace window coverings with pastel striped fabrics. Use drapery rings that clip onto the fabric and slide over the existing hardware.

  Remove any carpeting from the floor and put in adhesive floor tiles. Choose tiles in white for the main portion of the floor. Make an inlaid rug appearance by using pastel tiles where you would place a rug.

  Use fresh flowers for fragrance, color and beauty. Try not to block the view from one end of the trailer to the other by keeping the height of the flower arrangements low.

  Check out flea markets, antique shops and tag sales for cottage accessories. Look for white or pastel picture frames, floral dishware, pottery and painted wood shelves small enough to use in your motor home.

  Make displays on your kitchen counters, tables and small shelves. Use shelves you can easily tuck away while traveling or adhere the shelves in place with construction adhesive. Make sure you don't impede the flow of traffic through your trailer.
