Bobby Jack Bedroom Ideas

Bobby Jack, created by Han Lee, is a line of girl's clothing centered on images of a brown cartoon monkey. The comical monkey gear started as T-shirts that displayed a joke on the front and the punch line on the back of the shirts. Filled with color and attitude, Bobby Jack works for more than just clothes. Cartoon colors and a few signature items are all any girl needs to give her bedroom a Bobby Jack theme.
  1. Bed

    • The bed is the centerpiece of any girl's bedroom, especially when creating a Bobby Jack theme. A themed blanket and pillow are not only low-cost and able to turn a boring bed into something special, but they're also easy to replace if your little one outgrows the monkey theme. Cover the bed in plain sheets and plain pillows. Add the themed blanket, and place the single-themed pillow in front of the plain pillows. If you want something more impressive, hang themed Bobby Jack sheets on the wall behind the bed as decorative curtains.

    Walls

    • The key to creating attractive and budget-friendly wall accents for a Bobby Jack-themed bedroom is to use poster frames. Purchase or print out several Bobby Jack images, and place each one in a simple poster frame. Hang the pictures at different levels around the walls to add splashes of color to the room. Stencil images of the monkey onto the frame around a corkboard to create a themed area for displaying artwork. You can also use Bobby Jack stickers to decorate the frames around family pictures and hang those on the wall.

    Bedroom Furniture

    • Stick with simple bedroom furniture with themed accents to create a Bobby Jack bedroom that looks good now and that is easy to change to a different theme in the future. For example, a wooden dresser with Bobby Jack stenciled on each side is easy to create and to paint over later. Glue a stuffed Bobby Jack monkey to the bottom of a lamp, and place it on a stenciled nightstand to turn two simple objects into themed accents. Stuff a Bobby Jack pillowcase, and stitch it closed to create a themed seat pillow for a plain chair.

    Windows

    • An attractive window treatment helps tie a room together, provides privacy and frames the view. Create a wooden valance painted with assorted Bobby Jack jokes for a sharp and colorful window treatment. Stitch themed pillowcases into curtains, and hang them from a vine-looking curtain rod to help bring a little jungle style to the bedroom. Stick with simple cotton curtains hanging from a metal rod, and wrap the arms of a mini stuffed monkey around the fabric as curtain tiebacks to quickly create a themed window treatment.
