Fill up the blank space of your walls by hanging old rock-and-roll records or album covers, posters and framed photographs of famous rock stars. You can scatter the wall decor around the room, or dedicate one wall entirely to records, a second wall to posters and another to authentic photographs. Create a ticket board by pinning all of your rock-and-roll concert ticket stubs to a pegboard or cork board, and hanging it on the wall somewhere.
A rock band mural helps you accomplish the rock-and-roll motif in any room. Using your favorite rock band for inspiration, paint a mural of them on one wall in the room you are transforming. Or, hire a professional mural artist to paint it for you.
Fill up some of the corners of the room with CD towers that are jam-packed with music. Complement this by adding speakers and an audio system in the room, giving them their own shelves to stand out. If you have any musical instruments that you play, lean them against instrument stands to make your room feel authentic.
Rock-and-roll motifs are associated with bold colors like black and red. To transform your room, replace some of the furniture with things like a black suede couch, fire-engine-red chair, black-and-white-striped rugs and gray or bright pink pillows or bed sheets and covers.
For accent decoration pieces, fill a glass bowl or jar with colorful guitar picks to set on a shelf in the room. Frame old sheet music and place it around the room on shelves. Depending on the rock bands that most interest you, you can place band paraphernalia around the room.
