Fill the room with comfortable suede furniture. You'll want to have enough couches and chairs for all your friends to sit on with plenty of room. Ideally, arrange the furniture around a rug for a central feel.

Mount electric guitars and rock 'n' roll posters around the room. Use wall-based guitar stands to mount the guitars. Find the stands at any hobby store. Screw the mounts directly into the wall using either wood screws into studs or drywall mounting brackets. Arrange the guitars throughout the room for a large collection, or in one area if you want to showcase a small collection. Attach posters with blue poster putty, placed on a clean wall.

Set up a mini bar in the corner for serving drinks and snacks. The simplest form of minibar is a portable island setup with wheels for easy movement. Some setups will include pumps for water, while others offer outlets you can connect into for blenders and other appliances. Determine what you'll be serving and select the model that is best for you from a home improvement store.

Set up a surround sound system for listening to rock 'n' roll music. Surround sound speakers are typically mounted in each corner of a room and wired to connect into the main player system. Some high-end systems also offer wireless connections and only require a power outlet. If you don't want to hook up an entire CD system in your lounge, purchase a surround sound system that plugs into an MP3 deck or laptop.
