Instructions

    • 1

Make the leaves. Fold a square green napkin in half diagonally. Fold the long edge in half. Fold once more along the long edge.

    • 2

Make the flower. Fold the red, pink, yellow or white napkin in half along the diagonal. If you are using an ironing board, press the fold and arrange it so that the longest side of the triangle is at the top, or position it on your work table or counter this way.

    • 3

Take the corner opposite the longest side and fold it up so that it just extends over the top. Press with an iron, if desired. The top and bottom edges should be parallel. This should now look like a little boat, with just a tiny bit of the pointed edge a little over the straight top. The bottom is now a straight line. Fold it up again, so it falls under the top edge and under the little peak.

    • 4

Roll from the end, usually left to right, keeping all the layers even. at the bottom.

    • 5

That's it. You've created a colorful rose. Put it between the two halves of the green napkin and insert in an empty water glass.
