Instructions

    • 1

Sand and paint the chipboard. Let the paint dry. Apply a crackle finish to add texture.

    • 2

Use journaling pens to add a pop of color to the chipboard. Draw swirls, lines, dots or other patterns of your preference.

    • 3

Cover the chipboard in glitter glue to add sparkle to your wall decor. Cover the entire chipboard letter or a portion of the letter according to your preference. Wait for the glitter to dry and add a layer of glitter glue in another color if you want.

    • 4

Apply embossing powder to the chipboard. Adhere the embossed design with a heat gun. Add chalk around the outline or on top of the embossed image to make it more prominent.

    • 5

Glue small pieces of moss directly to the chipboard with a hot glue gun. Start from the edges of any portion of the letter, such as the holes for the letter "b" or "o," and work your way to the outside edges.

    • 6

Stretch fabric or ribbon around the chipboard letter. Add a dab of glue every inch on the back of the chipboard letter to adhere the fabric or ribbon to the chipboard letter. Or wrap the letter with decorative tape.

    • 7

Thread a needle with dental floss. Sew a straight line or cross stitch around the perimeter of the chipboard.

    • 8

Glue rhinestones, beads, brads, adhesive flowers or buttons to the chipboard.
