Re-Covering Cork Boards

When you have a cork board that is unsightly or plain-looking, you do not have to throw it out and buy a new one. Instead, re-cover the old cork board using a few basic materials, such as rolled cork and decorative fabric. This enables you to reuse an old cork board that may have seemed worthless, while creating a decorative cork board that you can customize to match the rest of your room decor.

Cut a piece of cork roll to the same dimensions as the old cork board, using scissors.

Place the new piece of cork on top of the old cork board, lining up the edges. Flatten out the new cork and keep it taut. Staple the edges of the new cork onto the old cork board, using a staple gun to secure the cork in place.
