Instructions

    • 1

Find a stud in the wall with an electronic stud finder. Mark the stud location at the height that you want to hang the medicine cabinet's mounting bar. The mounting bar goes on the bottom of the medicine cabinet and must be at least 3 inches above the sink or any hardware, such as faucets or knobs.

    • 2

Drill two 3/16-inch holes in the center of the long lip of the mounting bar. Make each hole at least 1 inch from the outer edge of the mounting bar, directly over the center line that runs the length of the long lip. At least one of the holes must align with the stud mark you made on the wall.

    • 3

Place the mounting bar on the wall in its permanent location. Center one of the holes over the mark you made for the wall stud. Use a level to make sure the mounting bar is even. Draw a line to mark the top of the mounting bar then make two dots to represent the holes you drilled for the mounting bar.

    • 4

Screw the mounting bar in place with the 2-inch hex head screws provided. Check again to make sure that the mounting bar is level before installing the second screw.

    • 5

Rest the cabinet on the mounting bar. The lip just inside the back panel of the medicine cabinet must rest in the groove on the mounting bar.

    • 6

Have an assistant hold the medicine cabinet in place. Slide one of the mounting clips down over the top of the right lip of the cabinet. The outermost groove of the mounting clip must rest on the portion of the cabinet lip parallel to the wall.

    • 7

Mark the center of the mounting hole in the clip with a pencil. Repeat Step 6 with the left mounting clip.

    • 8

Remove the mounting clips and lift the medicine cabinet up and off of the mounting bar. Place the left mounting clip so that it is centered over the left mark. Secure it to the wall with a 2-inch hex head screw. Repeat with the right mounting clip.

    • 9

Place the medicine cabinet onto the wall. First slide the top lip into the mounting clips then slide the medicine cabinet down so that its bottom lip fits into the groove in the mounting bracket.

    • 10

Install the side brackets. Place one bracket inside of the left flange so that the hole in the bracket lines up with the hole near the top of the left side of the medicine cabinet. Secure the bracket to the side of the medicine cabinet with the 3/8-inch screws provided. Install the other three brackets in the same way on the bottom left followed by the top right and finally the bottom right.

    • 11

Mount the side mirrors. Remove the protective backing from the brackets on the left side of the medicine cabinet. Align one of the included mirror strips with the left side of the medicine cabinet. Once the mirror strip is centered and aligned, press and hold it against the sticky backs of the brackets for 20 seconds. Repeat with the mirror strip on the left side of the medicine cabinet.

Install the shelves. Pull open the door of the medicine cabinet. Slide the shelf clips into the holes on the interior of the mirror at the height where you want each of the shelves to rest. Cover the unused holes with the hole caps provided. Slide the shelves onto the shelf clips.
