Seth Thomas Macan Office Clock Instructions

Sometimes function is more important than design, and the Seth Thomas Macan office clock proves this. There is no expressive style to this clock. The basic circle shape has only one plain black frame around the stark white face. Yet this clock has everything you need in a basic office clock. The hands are large and easy to see and the day and date are visible at the 3 o'clock position. Set up your Seth Thomas Macan clock in a matter of minutes to keep time visibly anywhere in your home or office.

Instructions

    • 1

Open the battery compartment on the back of the clock by pushing the small lever toward the center of the compartment cover, then lifting the cover off the clock. Place one AA battery inside the compartment, taking care to position the battery according to the diagram inside. Replace the cover by sliding the prongs at the back end of the cover into the slots, then pushing down on the cover until you hear a snap.

    • 2

Set the correct time on the Seth Thomas Macan clock by grasping the small dial on the back of the clock and turning it. This will cause the hands on the clock face to turn. Continue turning the hands until the clock indicates the correct time.

    • 3

Set the day and date on the clock by rotating the small wheels on the back of the clock. Set the date first, then the day of the week.

    • 4

Tap a small nail into the wall just below the ceiling at the place you wish the clock to hang. Leave at least 1/2 inch of the nail sticking out from the wall. Position the clock over the nail so that the nail nestles in the small hole at the top of the clock back. The nail will hold the clock in place against the wall.
