How to Adjust the Time on an Electric Kit Cat Klock

Kit-Cat Klocks made their debut in the 1930s. The Kit-Cat Klock is recognizable for its eyes that look from side to side while its tail swings back and forth. Over the years, the clock has not had too many changes, including how to adjust the time. If you recently purchased a new Kit-Cat Klock, or have come across an older Kit-Cat Klock, you can adjust the time using the same method.

     Hang your clock on the wall. You should only adjust the clock when you have hung it on a smooth, flat wall.

     Turn the minute hand clockwise, repeatedly, until your Kit-Cat Klock's hour hand is set to the correct hour.

     Continue to turn the minute hand until it is set on the correct minute.

   • 4

     Push the Kit-Cat tail to the side to activate the electric clock. Once activated, the tail and eyes will move from side to side.
