How to Use Patron Bottles for Decorations

Patron is a high-end tequila that comes in handcrafted, numbered bottles. Use your Patron bottles as part of your decor, whether you save the empty bottles or like to stock up for adult parties and get-togethers. The bottles can be used as is or you can add your own touch to them to complement any style or themed decor. Recycling the bottles for decorations is environmentally friendly and cost-effective.

Instructions

    • 1

Add colored water to an empty Patron bottle with a waterproof neon LED light inside, making the bottle shine. Line up a few bottles with a single color or different colors in front of a mirror or on mirrored shelves to draw attention to your home bar or liquor cabinet. Neon lights that fit under the bottles are another option and can be used with full bottles of Patron as well.

    • 2

Clean out empty Patron bottles and remove the labels to use the bottles as vases. Taller flowers can stick out of the makeshift vase or you can submerge an arrangement using real or silk flowers by weighing down the flowers with rocks, pebbles or crystals. Add other shapes and sizes of empty glass jars for interest or stick to different sizes of Patron bottles.

    • 3

Make oil lamps out of the bottles. Put hot glue on the end of a wick and stick it inside the bottle so the end is stuck on the center bottom of the bottle. Use a light, acrylic paint to add color to the bottles or keep them clear. Set the makeshift lamps on your porch, hang them from branches or use them at your outdoor table for a dinner under the stars.

    • 4

Display other treasures or collections in your used Patron bottles. For example, roll up a paper, such as a love letter, and add sand and shells. Seal the bottle to look like an old message in a bottle.

    • 5

Arrange your Patron bottles in a seemingly random order to show off different labels, designs, sizes or limited edition bottles. Draw attention to your collection by hanging a strand of miniature twinkling lights behind the bottles or shining spotlights on them. Add color to the arrangement by weaving silk ivy between the bottles or adding large glass vases filled with limes to the arrangement.
