How to Hang a Quartet Magnetic Fabric Bulletin Board With Clips

Shopping lists, coupons, phone numbers, photographs, post cards, chore charts, and lottery tickets. Whether such items are personal reminders or announcements for the family, bulletin boards give us a place to post all sorts of papers and mementos. Quartet-brand Magnetic Fabric Bulletin Boards with Quick Clips come with pre-installed mounting hardware. After hanging, the mounting hardware remains visible between the board and the wall.

Instructions

    • 1

Choose a location on the wall to install your Quartet bulletin board. Hang Quartet bulletin boards horizontally, with the Quick Clips, which hold documents along the frame, at the top, or vertically, with the Quick Clips on one side. Set the board against the wall. Place a level on top and adjust for evenness. Trace around the two top corners.

    • 2

Look at the back of the board. Find the two swiveling brackets on the back. Swivel the brackets so the hardware eyelets face up. Measure how far down from the top and how far in from the sides of the board the mounting hardware eyelets sit.

    • 3

Locate those same points on the wall, using the traced lines as a reference point, and make two dots.

    • 4

Drill pilot holes at the two dots. Use a drill bit that has a slightly smaller diameter than the wall anchors that came with your Quartet bulletin board.

    • 5

Gently hammer the anchors into the pilot holes until the heads are flush with the wall. Anchors will ensure stability in hollow areas of drywall.

    • 6

Turn the screws that came with the mounting hardware into the wall anchor holes, leaving the heads sticking out approximately 1/4 inch.

    • 7

Hover the top of the bulletin board over the screws and slip the mounting hardware eyelets over the slightly protruding screw heads. Let go and allow the bulletin board to hang.
