Position the spear on the wall vertically and make a mark at the bottom where you want the spear to rest. Make a second mark one-third of the way down from the top of the spear, but below the spearhead. Use the level to check that the spear is straight and the two marks are directly above each other.
Install the soap dish at the bottom of the spear. Soap dishes come with metal brackets that you attach to the wall with screws. Center the support brackets over the lowest mark you made and place the point of the awl in the center of the screw hole. Tap the backside of the awl lightly with a hammer. Place the tip of the screw through the support bracket hole and into the hole you tapped into the wall. Install the screw securing the metal holder to the wall. Install the second screw the same way.
Align the soap dish over the bracket, right side up, and slide the soap dish down over the metal brackets creating a platform for the spear butt.
Position the cup holder over the upper mark you made and install the metal brackets, tapping starter holes with the hammer and awl, screwing in the screws with the drill.
Slide the spear through the hole in the cup holder. Slide the cup holder up the spear and align it with the metal bracket, sliding it down over the bracket. Support the bottom of the spear on the soap dish.
