Tape the plug end of a strand of mini twinkle lights to one end of a grapevine garland with floral tape. Wrap the tape around one vine on the garland, not the entire diameter of the garland.
Insert the opposite end of the light strand through one of the largest openings between two vines in the grapevine garland, beginning at a section of vine near the plug. Gently pull the light strand through the opening in the garland until the strand wire is taut.
Turn the garland a quarter-turn, and insert the light strand through another wide opening between two grapevines on the garland. Pull the lights through the vines gingerly until the wire is taut.
Continue to weave the lights through the widest available openings along the grapevine garland strand. Turn the garland a quarter-turn before each new insertion.
Tape the end of the lighted end of the strand around one vine on the garland after the last weave. If the lights are too long for the garland, weave the extra length back through the garland. If one mini light strand is too short for the length of the garland, repeat the weaving process, but begin at the opposite end of the grapevine garland. The lights will overlap in the center.
Tape the plug end of a 500 mini light strand to one end of a grapevine garland. Wrap the tape around one vine only.
Wrap the light strand around the diameter of the garland for the length of the garland.
Tape the light strand wire to one vine within the garland every 6 inches along the length of the garland with floral tape.
